Aircel services deactivated-Consumers in a fix
Has Aircel Company gone bankrupt??
Cellular service provider company Aircel has suddenly deactivated its services leaving around 35 thousand consumers in a fix. It is extremely troublesome for consumers who have been using Aircel services that the company has shut down its connections. Even Aircel office at Saheli Marg has been locked and there is no one to give any explanation to the consumers.
Consumers are going round offices of local dealers and distributors but in vain. No one has any clue as to why the services have been deactivated. The zonal office of the company has pasted a notice outside the office giving ‘to-do’ instructions in case of no network and also about how to port the number with other cellular providers. As per reports National Company Law Tribunals are likely to declare bankruptcy of Aircel Company.
Staff of Aircel Company left their job with Aircel as they have not been paid since months. Even the dealers and distributors are waiting to receive their payments from the company. A lot of people have been trying to get clarifications from Aircel but haven’t received any response from them yet.
Another big issue is that since the numbers have been suddenly deactivated, consumers are finding it difficult to port the numbers. Since the porting code is not available, the process of porting cannot be completed. People from the rural areas also came to Udaipur city for having their numbers ported but are disheartened since nothing seems possible now.
