Rajasthan's first drone startup empowers students with drone technology...

Now college students will be able to learn the technology of making and flying drones. This new curriculum has been included in the educational programs, thanks to the efforts of two young entrepreneurs who started Rajasthan's first drone startup.

Vinay Kumar Yadav, the founder of the drone startup Visaron Pvt. Ltd., and co-founder Hitesh Borana, will train students on the technology of making drones and other important related technologies. This training will take place at the Center of Excellence for Drones, where students will gain proficiency in this cutting-edge field.

MoU with SPSU

Vinay Yadav announced that their startup, Visaron Pvt. Ltd., has signed a significant Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Sir Padampat Singhania University (SPSU). This MoU aims to include drone technology in the university’s educational curriculum.

As part of this initiative, a Center of Excellence for Drones will be established at the university. Here, students will learn various technical aspects of drone technology such as GIS, designing, drone flight, and drone-related software.

Workshops to Spark Interest

Initially, workshops will be conducted at the college to spark students interest in this field. The full course will begin in the new academic session. Yadav expressed his pride in teaching new technologies to the students of the university from which he graduated. He earned his bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Sir Padampat Singhania University. Hitesh Borana, his co-founder, completed his Electrical Engineering degree from CTAE College, MPUAT.

Successful Prototype and Government Support

They created their first prototype in 2018 and conducted successful testing and trials at SPSU. In 2022, they were awarded a grant of Rs 5 lakhs by the state government for their project.

Innovations in Agricultural Drones

Following this, they developed an agricultural drone and provided training to farmers. They continue to work on innovations in drone technology, aiming to further advance this exciting field.
