Kerala Introduces India's First AI Teacher Robot 'Iris'

In a groundbreaking move, a school in Kerala has unveiled 'Iris,' India's pioneering AI teacher robot, developed in collaboration with Makerlabs Edutech. The innovative creation aims to revolutionize education by providing a personalized learning experience for students.

'Iris' has been deployed at KTCT Higher Secondary School in Thiruvananthapuram, marking a significant stride in the integration of technology and education. The AI teacher is a product of the Atal Tinkering Lab (ATL) project, spearheaded by NITI Aayog.

Powered by an Intel chipset, 'Iris' features an in-built voice assistant and utilizes an Android app interface for seamless interaction and personalized learning. The robot is equipped with wheels, enabling mobility, and has the capability to comprehend and communicate in various languages.
