After a controversial MMS that came out recently of a jail inmate showing the beating marks on his back has fueled contradiction and queries regarding the alleged mismanagement of administration and illicit liberty provided in Jail, like mobile phones to prisoners.

The inmate Vijay alias Moto put serious allegations of physical abuse by Jail superintendent, while the superintendent has clearly denied the charges and claimed the prisoner a hardcore, poorly behaved violent man.

In a raid on Sunday, police have found half a dozen mobile phones hid in Udaipur Central Jail. The raid was carried out under the direction of District Collector Vikas Bhale and headed by ADM City, Mohammad Yaseen Pathan.

On one side medical reports confirm the beating marks on the convict’s body to be real, while on the other hand, jail administration is overlooking the present matter and trying to tighten the security issues, as a number of similar cases of convicts using mobile phone in jail has popped out lately.
