In what could be said as a shocking revelation, the prime accused of Ajay Purbia’s murder, Praveen Wasita told police that he hired a contract killer to murder Ajay Purbia, the murder took place on 9^th June 2014 at Goverdhan Vilas.

Wasita asserted that he paid Rs.20000 to Uday Kumar alias Ramu Pandit from Firozabad, U.P to kill Purbia.

Udaipur police along with Praveen Wasita raided Uday Kumar’s residence in Firozabad but Uday Kumar managed to flee away.

The murder of Purbia was part of the prolong rivalry between gangs of Praveen Paliwal and Naresh Harijan. Ajay Purbia was close aid of Naresh Harijan who was the mastermind behind murder of Praveen Paliwal on 16th March 2014 while Praveen Wasita was friend of Praveen Paliwal.

According to Wasita, he decided to kill Purbia a day after Praveen Paliwal’s murder and hired Uday Kumar for the task.

Wasita told police that on the day of murder he was accompanied with Uday Kumar who fired on Ajay Purbia.

Police is searching for Uday Kumar while Praveen Wasita and other suspects are already arrested.
