Not even a day has passed since the huge rally against Female Feticide organized by the Hindi Daily, Dainik Bhaskar in Udaipur that another sad and distressing incident of Female Feticide has come to light in the city today.

An alleged intentionally destructed female fetus was found today, 25^th January, at Indra Nagar, I-Block in Hiran Magri, Sector 4.

Does this show that the efforts of the people and the organizations that had participated in the cause on the 24^th January through a mass rally against Female Feticide, were not to any effect?

According to sources a female fetus, of an estimated 28 weeks was seen by a person in the evening at 5.30 pm in Indra Nagar and the Police was immediately informed.

On the basis of information provided by the (unknown) person, an F.I.R was launched at the Gorvardhanvilas Police station.

Roop Lal Singh, Assistant Sub Inspector at the Goverdhanvilas Police station informed that the fetus was taken to the MB Hospital for post mortem after which it was kept in the mortuary. The police is investigating the matter.
