While the criminals are wiping out the peace of Udaipur, another case of snatching came to light yesterday evening of Friday 23rd March at Sukhadia Circle, when two people on a motorbike snatched the bag from a woman pillion rider on another two-wheeler; the lady was pregnant and was accompanied by her husband.
Mustafa Ali and his wife Arwa lost valuables including three mobile phones, some precious jewelry, credit cards, I-cards and cash Rs.5000 in this shocking incident which occurred at around 7:30pm at Sukhadia Circle when the couple was going towards Panchwati.

According to Ambamata Police, Mustafa Ali, 31, s/o Ashiq Ali Bohra residence of Diamond Complex, Bedla Road was going with his wife Arwa Banu when two men of around 20-22 years of age, came on a motorcycle and snatched the bag from his wife’s hand and fled away.

Mustafa informed UT that “I tried chasing them but the traffic was too heavy and also because my wife was pregnant I had no choice but to stop, let my wife get off and then started chasing them again but lost them within seconds.”

“I have lost 3 mobile phones, a diamond chain and Rs. 5000 in cash, credit cards and identity cards”, he said.

The duo rushed to the Ambamata Police Station and lodged F.I.R about the incidence, the investigation is in process, says police.
