A food stall hawker was subjected to assault by three men on the matter of paying the bill. Two attackers ran away, while one was caught by the locals who thrashed him before handing him to the police.

Yesterday, victim Devi Singh Rajput (40), a food hawker situated near Town Hall road had argument with the attackers when they allegedly refused to pay the bill, after eating on Singh’s stall.

Today morning, all three men came back with iron rods, sticks and started beating Devi Singh.

Singh received injuries on head and fell unconscious. One of the attackers who were identified as Ramchandra Odh was caught by locals of the area, while other two fled.

The injured Devi Singh was rushed to the hospital and the accused Ramchandra was arrested by the police.

According to the sources, all three accused often comes to Devi Singh’s stall and are bossing around.
