A truck filled with liquor has been seized at the Prasad Police Station.

The vehicle was transporting illegal liquor from Haryana to Gujarat and was caught at Para Ghati, Prasad after being allowed through at Goverdhan Vilas.

According to the arrested driver Roshan Yadav, a police constable at Goverdhan Vilas had seized his truck but released after negotiating an amount of Rs. 4 Lac as bribe, as per the allegation by the driver.

The ADSP Sudhir Joshi has said that the investigation into the role of the Constable has started, while the truck containing 471 cartons of illegal liquor has been seized and driver arrested.
