Surajpol Police arrested an accused today with an amount of Rs 2,56,000 in cash and seized it considering it suspicious.

The accused was arrested by the police near Town Hall area during patrolling. As soon as the accused saw police team approaching him, he tried to flee but was nabbed and taken to Police Station.

As per police, he was detained first on suspicion when he could not present any satisfactory documents for the amount he was carrying with him.

Accused Nihaal informed the police that, he is an employee of an ‘Ad Technology’ Company in Nagpur, Maharashtra and working there as a bill operator.

He accepted later to have committed fraud with the company and was on the run with the cash.

The amount of cash was seized under section 102 CRPC and the accused was booked under section 109 -151 CRPC.
