A man was stabbed in the abdomen at Shastri Circle yesterday evening over a petty issue. An altercation between Iqbal Husain, resident of Shastri Circle and Abdul Baksh, a roadside food hawker led to a heated argument. Iqbal objected to Abdul Baksh parking his food stall (Thela) outside his house. This led to a heated exchange, during which Abdul stabbed Iqbal in the stomach with a screw driver. Iqbal was rushed to MB Hospital for treatment, while Abdul was arrested by the Police.
