In an appalling incidence yesterday evening, a newly born girl child was found abandoned outside the Janana Hospital Compound, MB Hospital.

For more than half an hour, the new born was lying outside the hospital, before a labor saw her and took the child to Police Chowki. After two hours, the Paalna Grah finally took in the baby and shifted her to the Pediatric Ward.

Upon getting the information, the hospital administration shifted the baby under observation. “The present condition of the baby is normal,” informed Suresh Goyal, HOD, Pediatric Ward.

According to the officials of the ward, the child is newly born (1.5 months) and weighs around 3 kilos. Police has started search for parents of the child.
