Parsad Police has seized truck carrying illegal liquor worth Rs.15 Lac and arrested two people including the truck driver and his assistant. The consignment was coming from Haryana and going to Gujarat.

The liquor bottles were packed into 721 boxes and hidden under the wheat sacks. All liquors were made in Haryana and Punjab states.

According to Ad. S.P Ajay Bhargava, during the night patrol, information was received that a truck coming from Udaipur is carrying illegal liquor and going to Gujarat. A barricading was installed and the truck was stopped for checking.

Upon thorough checking, police found 721 boxes of liquor. The driver Sarbaram Solkar and Baljit Singh both residents of Faridabad, Haryana were arrested and booked under section 19/54 Excise Regulation.
