Seeing the increasing number of anti-social activities by students, Udaipur Police is now going to make a data base of such students and will serve notice to their parents before taking any legal action.
Superintendent of Police, Ajaypal Singh Lamba has instructed all the Station Head Officers to keep eye on such students who are frequently involved in fights, drunken driving and eve teasing. Serving notice by police department will inform parents about their children’s activities. Previously, schools and colleges used to serve such notices.
According to Lamba, many students who come to Udaipur for studies get involved in anti-social activities due to their bad company, while their parents are completely unaware of this fact.
Creating nuisance in schools and colleges, cases of assault, alcohol addiction, eve teasing are common these days and most of the time the accused are teenage students.
Now, after sending complaint letter to the parents of accused students, police will give them a chance to change their bad habits or the students will have to face legal actions which might cost their career.
