UPDATE: Reason of women’s death is an intestinal disease called as volvulus, which is defined as a complete twisting of a loop of intestine around its mesenteric attachment site.

Also, the lady was not pregnant.

Additional Deputy Magistrate Mohammad Yaseen Pathan will probe the suspicious death of a married woman, who died last night during treatment at Choudhary Hospital.

The woman was admitted by her husband following complaint of stomach pain. According to doctors, she was 2-3 months pregnant, however the reason of death would be clear only after postmortem report.

The deceased, Bhanwar Kanwar, resident of Panwari, Debari was admitted in Choudhary Hospital by her husband Rud Singh. Soon after the team of doctors attended the ailing lady, she died.

Doctors believed that Bhanwar was 2-3 months pregnant, her mother in-law also confirmed her pregnancy, but her husband Rud Singh was unaware of this. Seeing the incident and suspicion over cause of death, a probe has been ordered over the death.

Deceased was married from last 2 years; hence, according to law, ADM city will investigate the case.
