After the Rishabdev Police and Hiran Magri Police got information on their common accused hiding at his residence in Badgaon, they made a joint bid to arrest him yesterday.

 
After the Rishabdev Police and Hiran Magri Police got information on their common accused hiding at his residence in Badgaon, they made a joint bid to arrest him yesterday. On getting information, the police team reached the Badgaon residence of Pankaj Pandiya, the accused wanted in two separate crimes of Murder and Fraud at Rishabdev and Udaipur respectively. On seeing the Police, Pankaj climbed his roof top and threatened to jump down and commit suicide. He was convinced to step down, but soon after, he cut his arms with a blade in protest of his arrest. He was taken to MB Hospital after the Police arrested him. Who is Pankaj: Pankaj was wanted in a murder case which took place a Rishabhdev in 2009. He has been on the run since then. Also, a few months ago in November 2012, Pankaj had purchased a Computer set from Swastik Computers at Hiran Magri Sector 5 and had given a cheque of Rs. 1 lakh 30 Thirty Thousand to the vendor. The cheque bounced and a case of fraud was registered in his name.
