A 22-year-old woman, resident of Rao Ji Ka Hata died today at MB Hospital due to severe burn injuries. The woman was admitted on the night of 12^th Sept and since then going under treatment, but succumbed to death today.

According to victim’s parents, they doubt their daughter was murdered for dowry. However police said that victim gave her statement before death and stated that she got burnt during cooking. No police complaint is lodged against anyone yet.

According to victim’s father, on the day of incident he got call from her daughter’s father in law who told him to take his daughter. When he requested to make him talk to his daughter, she sounded afraid.

Just after few minutes of this, they were informed about their daughter getting severely burnt. The woman was 90 percent burnt and was admitted in MB hospital in critical condition.

The woman was married only one and half year ago and her mother allege that her in laws were torturing her for dowry since then.
