A woman was robbed by a group of 6-7 boys today near Khanjipeer area. Surajpol Police has launched the manhunt.

The victim Kusum Kumawat, resident of Kishanpol was driving her car with her two children when two boys on Activa scooter came from behind and stopped the car. Soon more suspects joined the duo and started abusing Kusum.

They allegedly tried to snatch the Mangal Sutra from the lady but could not succeed. The accused robbed her purse containing Rs. 4000 and manhandled victim’s 14-year-old son when he tried to save her mother.

Kusum also informed that the gang of boys is resident of Kishanpol area and used to roam around her house. Her son has identified few accused and informed their names to police.
