Prof J. A. Moreno Perez has several years of experience in Control Systems and has published more than 40 technical papers. The others speakers at the workshop were Prof. Rajeev Gupta and Dr. Girish Parmar.

The speakers at the workshop were internationally known personalities in the field of Control Systems.  Lectures were delivered on various advanced topics in control system. While Prof Leonid Fridman spoke about the three generations of sliding mode controllers, Prof J. A. Moreno Perez’s talk was on Observer based compensation of matched and unmatched uncertainties.

Prof Rajeev Gupta spoke of the latest trends in fuzzy logic based power stabilizers for single-machine and multi-machine power systems. Dr. Girish Parmar enlightened the audience on Reduced Order Modelling and its application in control system designs.

More than 70 students attended the workshop and enhanced their knowledge and understanding of the latest advances and trends in control systems.

The workshop was inaugurated by the Guest of Honour, Prof Fridman and Prof Moreno by lightening the lamp and was accompanied by the Saraswati Vandana sung by the volunteers.

Mr R S Vyas introduced the guests/ speakers to the intellectual audience. The certificates were distributed by Prof Rajeev Gupta, Prof Mithilesh Kumar and Dr Girish Parmar to all the attendees. Dr. Rajbeer Sharma gave the vote of thanks to all the guests, speakers and the attendees.
