Hajj Pilgrims Honored in ceremony

Hajj Pilgrims of Udaipur who recently returned home after completing their annual Hajj in Mecca, Saudi Arabia were honored by a local organization "Jan Nagrik Seva Samiti" in a function held at Raza Garden, Alipura on Sunday. The function was attended by 61 pilgrims.

Hajj Pilgrims of Udaipur who recently returned home after completing their annual Hajj in Mecca, Saudi Arabia were honored by a local organization “Jan Nagrik Seva Samiti” in a function held at Raza Garden, Alipura on Sunday. The function was attended by 61 pilgrims.

Chandra Singh Kothari, Mayor UMC was the chief guest of the event with other respected dignitaries which included Kuntilal Jain, BJP leader, Iqram Qureshi of Minority Cell and Kanta Prince of Congress.

Mohammad Ismail of Jan Nagrik Seva Samiti informed that the program was organized to honor and congratulate all Hajj pilgrims for their successful completion of this annual pilgrimage, Hajj, one of the most important religious events in Islam. All pilgrims were garlanded and later famous poet Mushtaq Chanchal presented his poems in respect of the pilgrims. The program was concluded with lunch.
