“Students from Udaipur, Delhi, Mumbai and other places presented their models during the seminar and gave presentation. The review committee will now select best projects and send it to the Ministry of Science and Technology for their approval. Once they are approved, then they will be funded,” said S.M Mathur, Program Coordinator.
National President of PRISM, Dr. S Shivram said, “No innovation project should be stopped until its final output and practical implementation is tested. Both financial and organizational support should be provided to the researcher without any hassle.”
While sharing his own personal experience, Dr. Shivram added, “It is a big challenge to take forward new technology and research.”
Senior Scientist of New Delhi, Dr. S.K Deshpande said, “We have seen many developments in sectors like security, environment protection etc in the recent past. For example, a motorcycle should not start until the rider wears his helmet, such innovative work are required today.”
The dean of the CTAE, B.P Nandwana welcomed all the representatives of the centers by presenting a brief report about the activities of the college in last few months. Along with it, an exhibition of all those innovations done by Prism in last few years was organized in which a Car specially designed for the handicaps was the highlight. Battery Operated car, Adjustable Cultivator for farmers and many others were also displayed.
