Take Better Precautions

  • Snakes feed on rats and frogs so try to keep surroundings and your home free from these two favorite foods of snake.
  • Don’t pile up the garbage in-front or near your house as the piled garbage provides an excellent place for snake to take shelter.
  • Cover all open drain and if possible place wire gauges or traps on the drain openings.

  • Whenever you are stepping out of your home carry a torch or switch on the outside lights first and then move out.

What to do when you see a snake in your home?

  • If a snake enters in your house then don’t panic. Keep a safe distance from it.
  • Don’t try to attack it or kill it. If you try to attack, it may harm you in self defense.
