Reliance Jio is currently launching 5G services in Udaipur, Jaipur and Jhodpur city. On Saturday, January 7, 2023, Ashok Gehlot will launch 5G services at the Bhamasha Technohub in Jaipur's Jhelna Institutional Area.  After 5G is launched, data speeds will increase. The message will arrive at the other location in less seconds.  

Department of Telecommunications officials tested Jio's 5G technology on BTS ( Base transceiver station). The current downloading speed is 986 to 1658 Mbps while the consumer is not equipped with 5G. 4G speeds can reach up to 20 Mbps, while 5G speed can reach more than 100 Mbps. 

Work will also be done on how 5G technology will work effectively in Starthouse. A space in Techno Hub has been reserved for young people who will work in starthouse. 

SIM will remain the same 

The SIM card will remain the same, however the device must be 5G capable. Those who have a Reliance Jio 4G connection and a mobile device that supports 5G will instantly begin receiving 5G service. There is no need to upgrade the sim. 

Airtel, like Reliance Jio, is planning to introduce 5G this month. Work is being done to update the tower and instal new BTS for this purpose.
