Comparing the data from these two years, it is evident that the number of electric two-wheelers surged by approximately two and a half times, while the count of four-wheelers increased fourfold.

Presently, numerous companies are introducing two-wheeled electric vehicles into the market. These vehicles are gaining popularity among consumers due to their impressive range and comparable pricing to traditional petrol vehicles. An additional benefit is the cost savings associated with the absence of maintenance expenses. Concurrently, there has been a noticeable uptick in the popularity of hybrid cars, with 1648 units sold in the past year. It is worth noting that hybrid two-wheelers have not been introduced to the market as of yet.
