Dhruv Sharma, the Marathon Teacher from Udaipur, set yet another record at 10pm on Sunday, 2 September, when he completed a non-stop 36 hour classroom session with students at Udaipur.
Dhruv, a local college pass out had an earlier record of 24 hrs non-stop class to his name, which he surpassed with this effort. He had started his teaching practice at the young age of 18, teaching students of classes XI and XII under his banner, DS Classes.

To accomplish this record, Dhruv began his class at 10am on Saturday, 1 Sept and continued teaching till 10pm on Sunday, 2 Sept. During this period he did not eat anything and just managed with tea and water. For the benefit of students, 6 hourly batches were scheduled, and he completed 6 batches of 6hrs each towards this effort. He completed the full Micro Economics subject for classes XI and XII.
On the completion of his marathon session, Dhruv thanked his students and their parents for standing by him. He has dedicated this effort to his late mother Kiran Bala Sharma.
