Dunga Ram (55) and his brother Pardaram Prajapat (45), residents of Maga Village of Gogunda Tehsil were admitted in MB Hospital after receiving life threatening injuries when a leopard attacked them yesterday evening.

According to Saira Police Station, Dunga Ram was on his way to check his cattle near his farm when a leopard hiding in the bush attacked the farmer. Dunga Ram in spite of injuring his legs and hands tried to retaliate and screamed for help.

Hearing the screams of his elder brother, Parda Ram ran to rescue his brother from the beast but the leopard attacked him as well. Soon, more people of the village came to help both Dunga Ram and Parda Ram.

“After initial medication, they are referred to MB Hospital, the leopard has also killed one cattle before attacking them,” said a Police Officer in charge of the case.
