Two people on a motorcycle were crushed to death by a trailer on the Pratapnagar Balicha bypass near Geetanjali Hospital. The accident happened yesterday evening.

As per the Police information, the two deceased have been identified as Lohar colony, Ayar residents Zakir (42) and Ahmed Hussain (45). The two were cousin brothers. The duo were returning after working in the Eklingpura area.

While returning on the bike, the two overtook the trailer from the left hand side but because of the undulating road on the side, the bikers lost balance and fell off. Unfortunately the trailer wheels ran over them after they well and the duo were crushed to death on the spot.

Savina police reached the spot after the incident. The bodies were then moved to MB Hospital mortuary. Police has confiscated the trailer and lodged a case against the trailer driver.
