In a tragic incident, a 20-year tourist to Udaipur drowned in Fatehsagar today afternoon. The deceased had descended on the stairs to take bath wherein he slipped and fell in deep waters.

Sikar resident Gajender(20) s/o Mahendra Kumawat had come to Udaipur with his friends on a vacation. He and his friends had come to Udaipur today morning only. While moving around, they reached Fateh sagar in the afternoon. After spending some time on the promenade, the visitors felt an urge to take a bath in Fateh sagar. While taking a bath, Gajender went slightly deep on the stairs where he slipped. He tried paddling his hands and legs but went deeper. When he did not come out for long, his friends got scared and shouted for help.

Visitors around called the police for help. A team of divers soon reached the spot. The body was yet to be found till the time of writing the news.
