Pratap Nagar Police Station registered a suicide case later in the evening today when a 23-year-old girl hung herself to death in her room at Ganesh Nagar, University road.

According to Police, Seema [name changed] (23), a student of M.A. Prv., tenant at Ganesh Nagar, University Road. She was found hanged in her room at 9 PM today by neighbors, who then informed the police. Reportedly, she consumed the poison initially before hanging herself. She hails from Dungarpur and she has been residing in Udaipur for past one year for studies. Tejraj Singh, ADSP (City) and Manjeet Singh, CI, Pratap Nagar Police Station along with the police team reached the scene and did the initial investigation. The dead body was then transferred to mortuary and her parents were informed. Reported By: Sohail Khan
