In a disturbing event last night, three youngsters who were coming to the city on a motorbike met with an accident at the Chirwa Ka Ghata at 8:15 in the evening and fell into a 150 feet deep valley. The boy who was riding the bike lost his life on the spot and the other two are seriously injured.

The trio was enroute from Nathdwara and while negotiating the sharp and dangerous turn near the Beru Ji ka Temple, collided with the boundary walls towards the valley side.

According to Pankaj Prajapat, one of the victims, “We were trying to avoid a truck coming from the other side and in the confusion lost control of the vehicle and fell into the valley.”

Chetan Prajapat, who was riding the bike lost his life on the spot, informed Pankaj who works in SDPL, a road construction company in Udaipur, and is Chetan’s cousin. The third victim in the road accident is a student, Suraj Bunkar.

The victims were rescued by the passerby’s on the road who all in the pitch dark night lit their vehicle’s headlights and four of them climbed down with ropes in the valley to get back the three of them.

The Sukher Police Station was informed about the accident, where the case was registered and the three victims were taken to the M.B. Hospital where Chetan was declared dead.

Pankaj, resident of Saharha and Suraj are still admitted in the hospital.
