In a major crash between two cars today (Saturday) evening, 4 people died while 2 people have been seriously injured. The accident happened near Mangalwar Chouraha on Udaipur-Chittorgarh highway.

The accident took place between a Maruti Suzuki SX4 and a Maruti Omni. 4 people died including a brother-sister duo. One man in other vehicle was also hit and he also succumbed to his injuries.

On receiving the information, Mangalwar Police reached the spot and all injured were referred to MB Hospital Udaipur. Kanor resident Narayan s/o Ambalal Meghwal, Radheshyam s/o Ajayram Meghwal succumbed to injuries en-route the hospital. Maya Meghwal d/o Narayan Meghwal died during treatment. Arvind Kumar s/o Padam Kumar Jain, who was in another car died on spot and his body was moved to community center at Dungla, Chittorgarh.

The accident impact was so severe that the body of the vehicles was blown away. Police had to take help of crane for cutting the chassis and removing the dead/injured.
