In a tragic accident, 8 camels were run over by train coming from New Jalpaiguri to Udaipur. The 8 camels were cut to death on the spot.

The accident happened between Khemli and Bheemal. As per the information received, the accident happened a couple of days back when the train was coming from New Jalpaiguri to Udaipur. The train was running late. During that time, at around 8:30 am, some camels were crossing the track. With the train coming at fast speed, the driver had little time to react and the train ran over 8 camels.

GRP and RPF officials reached the spot on receiving the information. The camels were removed from the spot and train released for Udaipur.
