A fetus has been found floating in lake fateh sagar today morning. A passerby took the initiative and pulled the fetus towards shore with the help of wooden stick and informed police.

According to police, the fetus was male and 8 month old, while the person who pulled it out has claimed it to be a female fetus.

It was around 11 in the morning, when Ambamata Police had been informed about a fetus found floating, near third chatri of Fateh Sagar paal.

“Fetus was in deteriorated condition as it was under water for more than 24 hours, as per the postmortem report it is 8 month old male fetus”, said the police officials.

Ambamata police has registered the case.
