In an accident at Balicha bypass on Udaipur-Ahmedabad highway, one person died and 1 other succumbed to serious injuries. It was 6 a.m. this morning when RTO flying squad was checking vehicles at Balicha bypass.

While checking vehicles on highway, the flying squad noticed a truck trola coming on that route. Home guard personnel who was with the flying squad signalled the trola to stop. The trola driver instead of stopping the vehicle increased speed and headed straight towards the place where the flying squad vehicle was standing. The home guard jawan Ranveer Jat died on the spot where as one other person from the flying squad got seriously injured. The truck driver managed to escape from the site.
