The accidents on National Highway at Bhatevar seem to have become a routine. Today morning witnessed yet another accident when a ambulance was crushed between two trucks.

The accident took place near Petrol pump situated close to Railway bridge at Bhatevar. The ambulance was coming from Chittorgarh and going towards Udaipur. The ambulance was being driven in between two trucks. All of a sudden, the truck running in front of the ambulance applied sudden break as a result of which the ambulance rammed into the front truck. Given the sudden nature of breaking, the truck behind the ambulance rammed into the ambulance from behind leaving it in tatters.

Thankfully, there were no deaths reported in the incident. Ambulance driver Vikram Singh (35) and an ambulance passenger Konika (d/o Pyarchand) sustained injuries and were taken to MB Hospital Udaipur for treatment. Two other passengers sustained minor injuries.

Both the truck drivers fled the scene.
