An accident took place between a bus and school auto this morning at Chetak Circle. 7 children and auto driver got injured.

This morning at Chetak Circle, a roadways bus hit a school auto at Pahadi bus stand, outside the Gandhi ground. The auto had 7 students of St. Paul’s school. The impact of the bus was such thatthe auto flew into the air and over turned thrice – the school auto got completely damaged.  The auto driver was thrown out with a force as result of which he suffered a serious head injury. All children are injured. Reportedly one child is also severely injured.

The injured were rushed to MB hospital. Witnesses said that all of a sudden they could see the laughter of children turn into screams. It was a spine chilling moment seeing the condition of auto and the scared-to-death children.

As per the latest update, the injured are still under treatment.  The child who was injured seriously is reportedly still under treatment but is said to be out of danger.  The driver of the auto is still under observation.
