In what could have been a disastrous road accident, the skillful manoeuvre of the driver saved lives of nearly 60 passengers on board the Rajasthan State Road Transport Corporation (RSRTC) bus bound for Ajmer.

The passenger bus that left from Udaipur Bus Depot for Ajmer was packed to the maximum capacity, including small kids and ladies.

Upon reaching Bhuwana near R.K Circle the shocker shaft of the bus broke and imbalanced the loaded carrier, the bus could have turned down, however the driver with his skills subsided the deadly accident by steering the bus on the other side of the road. There was small collision though, with the tar drums placed as divider between the roads.

According to Shamim Begum, 55 year old passenger on board the bus, “Everything happened very fast, due to some technical fault the driver lost control over bus, yet the timely efforts of the driver kept us safe”.
