A youth from Ahmedabad drowned near Ubeshwar ji Mahadev temple. He was on a picnic with friends.

19 year old Vikas Mishra s/o Kamla Shankar Mishra from Ankleshwar, Gujarat, had come to Udaipur with friends Vivek Patel and Soham Patel on 18^th August. They had some friends in Udaipur. Vikas Mishra was a student of engineering college in Ahemdabad. On Saturday all friends decided to go for picnic to Ubeshwar Mahadev, a very well known and loved picnic spot of Udaipur. All friends were enjoying their dip in the pond. While the fun was still going on, Vikas went towards the deep side of the pond and drowned. His friends tried their level best to save him but in vain.

Police were informed. Divers kept searching for the body until late evening without any success. Sunday morning divers carried out their search again and found Vikas’s body.
