Nearly 14 persons are feared dead in a tragic incident in Nepal in the early morning hours on 23 August. As pre media reports, an Indian passenger bus carrying nearly 40 passengers, all Indians, plunged into the Marsyangdi River near the Tanahun district of Nepal.

Tanahun is approximately 110 kilometers away from Kathmandu, the final destination of the ill-fated bus. As per officals, the bus was enroute from Pokhara to Kathmandu and is believed to be carrying all Indians. The bus bore a UP license plate. The bus is lying on the banks of the river, while rescue operations are underway, at the time of writing this report.
