In a tragic mishap near Banswara, 38 people including 4 women and 3 children were injured after the roadways bus in which they were travelling overturned and fell into a ditch on Sunday afternoon.

The rajasthan roadways bus was travelling to Surat when this accident occurred at Makodia Thikriya Bridge, around 6 Km before Banswara city, informed Surendra Singh Bhati, SHO Sadar police station.

The vehicle was perhaps over speeding hence the driver lost control and the bus overturned, falling into the ditch. Some 49 travelers were in the bus that helped each other to get out through the windows.

Two of them sustained severe injuries who were shifted to MB Hospital while others were treated at the nearest health center, informed police.
