A passenger car carrying seven members of a family ran over with a road divider, resulting in fatal accident, causing the death of 5 of the passengers and seriously injuring the other two.

As per the SHO of Bekariya Police Stationm Bhagwati Lal, the five deceased include Satish (55), his wife Savita (50), their son Chirag (20) and the couples’ daughter children Jigyasa (7) and Rudra (4).  The other son and Chirag’s broter Tarun (21) and daughter Priyanka (28) have been referred to an Udaipur hospital.  The victims were residents of Bhinmal in Pali and were returning to Pali after a medical consultation at Udaipur.  The accident occurred near Kyaari village at around 11pm on Tuesday.

The bodies have been handed over to the family after postmortem.
