A Maruti Omni van caught fire today near Saheliyon Ki Badi due to unknown reasons. The vehicle was partially damaged. Fortunately, no one was injured in the incident as all the passengers quickly came out of the vehicle at the first signs of fire.

The car had CNG gas cylinder fitted in the rear. However, according to the driver, the car was running on petrol when accident occurred.

“We smelled something burning and stopped the car immediately. Apparently, a spark in the car caused fire”, said the driver who did not wish to be identified.

The fire was controlled by local people before fire brigade responded to the situation.
