1 man died while other was seriously injured when an uncontrolled truck rammed into a car and the car got crushed under the truck. The car was stuck under the truck for over an hour and a half till crane could be arranged to remove the truck and take out the injured/dead person.

The painful incident happened today afternoon near the lake in nearby Kailashpuri village. A speeding truck that lost control and crashed into the mountain rock before running over the car, completely crushing it.

The deceased has been identified as Aamir (24) s/o Hanif Khan while the injured has been identified as Aftab (19) s/o Mohammad Hameed. Residents of Delwara, the duo were travelling towards Udaipur when the accident happened at 12pm today afternoon.

Aamir and Aftab were crushed in the car when the car was run over by the truck. Villagers tried to rescue them but to no avail as the car was crushed under the truck. People around immediately informed Sukher Police. Sukher Police reached the spot in 20 minutes and then informed highway crane. The crane came to rescue and almost one and a half hour passed in total by the time the truck could be removed. During this while Aamir passed away while Aftab was severely injured.

The deceased and the injured were brought to MB Hospital. Aamir’s body was handed over to his relatives after post mortem.
