Car swept away near Tidi dam | 1 dead
One person died while two others were rescued when their car was swept away while crossing a bridge near Tidi Dam. Their car was swept away due to heavy current of water when they were trying to cross a bridge that had water flowing over it.

The incident happened at a bridge near Tidi Dam. Out of the three people in the car, one person got stuck in the car and died while the other two were rescued after a lot of effort. The two people rescued had managed to climb out of the car and get on the roof of the car.
As per the information received, the incident happened in Naka Bazaar Village near Tidi Dam. The area falls under Zawar Mines Police Station. Body of the man who died has been kept in mortuary while other two were referred to hospital for preliminary treatment. The dead man was identified as Pyare Lal of Nehla Village.
The car that was swept away was later recovered with the help of a crane.
A warning has been issued by administration to the public to keep away from water overflows on bridges and roads.
