Close chamber meeting before kickstart of Sarkar Apke Dwar Chief minister Vasundhara Raje held a cabinet meeting before kick starting off the third season of Sarkar Apke Dwar program in Udaipur division.

The cabinet meeting which went on for some five hours started off late as the CM ran late of her schedule after inauguration of the livelihood skill center at Debari on Saturday noon.

Later in a brief interaction with the media, Raje said the initiative is nothing but the willpower of the government to reach out to the common and hear their problems. We don’t want a system where people have to rush to Jaipur to get their grievances addressed. Instead the government is coming to their doors to hear them.

Pointing out the problems areas Raje said “ Last time when I visited the tribal region, the major issues I came across was water, electricity, road, lack of doctors and teachers and no employment”. These problems need to be addressed, we need to make recruitments but everything is not possible in a day, it will take some time but we are sure we will do it. On being asked about any confidential agenda or fresh instructions given to the cabinet, she smiled and said Yes but it will be only disclosed after the completion of program.

Meanwhile briefing to the media on the cabinet meeting Health Minister Rajendra Rathore said out of the total 1500 gram panchayats in the division, public hearing will be held at 1400 places where 14 teams headed by 10 ministers and 14 senior officers will hear the public grievances. Referring to the earlier editions of the initiative a great success, Rathore said that regular follow-ups and reviews have helped us improving facilities and services in remotest areas of the Bharatpur and Bikaner division and we expect same changes in Udaipur too. Rathore indicated announcements of some big schemes for the tribal dominant Udaipur division once the cabinet give its nod in the review meeting which will be held on August 25 after the completion of the Sarkar Apke Dwar program.
