A student of B.N College died on the spot while another received fatal injuries when their motorcycle crashed into a truck parked on the roadside at Balicha, last night of Sunday.

The deceased Mahendra Singh, 22, alias Monu, s/o Narayan Singh Rao, resident of Kelwa was returning to Udaipur from Tidi with his friend Kaushal, also student of B.N. College, s/o Govind Maheshwari, resident of Nathdwara, on a motorcycle.

The duo was accompanied by a group of friends who went to Tidi for picnic and were returning to Udaipur.

According to police, while passing through Balicha, the youth who were, allegedly, riding fast got misbalanced and crashed into a truck that was parked on the roadside. The condition of drunk-driving is also not overruled by the police.

Mahendra Singh died on the spot, whereas, his friend, Kaushal was severely injured and rushed to MB Hospital, he was later transferred to a private hospital where his condition is still said to be critical.
