Crane crushes leg of an old man, driver absconding

A 70-year-old man sustained serious injuries after a hydraulic crane crushed his leg. The mishap occurred at Savina today morning.

A 70-year-old man sustained serious injuries after a hydraulic crane crushed his leg. The mishap occurred at Savina today morning.

The victim Khuma Meghwal was rushed to MB Hospital while the crane driver fled away from the scene leaving the vehicle on the spot.

Khuma Meghwal, resident of Bhilia Village came to the old Patwar Office at Savina. When he came to know that the office is now shifted to Titdi Village. He started walking towards Titdi, and meanwhile a crane hit Meghwal from behind and crushed his leg severely.

Policemen from nearby Chowki rushed to rescue the victim. However, the driver fled away immediately leaving the crane.

Police called 108 Ambulance service and rushed the victim to hospital. A report against the unknown driver is also lodged.
