Fatehsagar boat rides get deadlier by the day, converting a leisure activity into a risky proposition now.  A speed boat, uncontrolled, with life jackets missing off passengers, crashed into a bigger passenger boat causing a fatal accident.

As per reports received, 7 people belonging to Jaipur were in the speed boat. While six people have been rescued, one girl is feared dead as the body has not been recovered from the area, where the depth is said to be 40ft.  Rescue operations are on, as per latest information.

One among the rescued is in critical condition. As per observers, the passengers in the speed boat were not wearing life jackets, a serious offence for the boat operators in the area.

As per information received later at night, the 4 year old girl, whose body was yet to be found, was identified as Chahak, d/o Deepa and Vidhyadhar Saini of Jaipur.  They along with Sumit Sharma, Vandana Sharma, their son Rishabh Sharma and Chirag Sharma also went into the water and sustained injuries due to the accident.  Rishabh was pulled out as he had his life jacket on, but Chahak is still missing.  The rescue team is assuming that since the waters contain a lot of vegetation in the bottom, it is possible that the body may have got stuck there  and yet not come to the surface.
