The nature park caught fire around 3 p.m. today and took a disastrous form.  The entire nature park got engulfed in flames and is almost destroyed.  It has been reported that hundreds of wild life in the park are stuck up in the flames or are caught in the fire.  Fire brigade of forest department and municipal corporation are trying their level best to put off the fire, but in vain.

The reason behind the fire is not yet known.  It is being assumed that someone threw a lighted bidi, which may have caused the place to catch fire.  The speed at which the fire spread has caused a lot of terror.

The point of danger is the gunpowder godown where almost 300 tonnes of gunpowder has been kept and it is within 200 metres from the park.  If the fire isn’t controlled, it may take an even more disastrous form.

Teams from RSMML have reached the park and are putting in their best efforts to remove the explosive stuff.  Flames have spread upto Kevra ki Naal.
