In a mishap last night, en empty plot behind Champalal Dharmshala, Surajpol caught fire in the wild plantation growing inside the radius.

People staying at Dharmshala reported big flames coming from the backyard of the Dharmshala, upon which rooms of Champala Dharmshala were vacated and fire brigade was called for.

Two fire fighting vehicles of the brigade controlled the fire in half an hour. The loss was minimal and a big mishap was avoided.
